My first snowflake attempt. Shot on the hand railing of a friend's deck in Chelan Washington. Tempurature about 27 degrees. The original background was white snow. NOT good. So I grabbed my Dasani water bottle, which has this translucent two toned blue label you see here in the background of my snowflake image. I cropped this image down to about 70 percent of it's original size. The lens is a Tamron SP AF90 F/2.8 Di 1:1 Macro.
This macro stuff is very difficult. I know what you mean HellFireDiva. [link] I nearly froze my butt off to get this image. I am so hooked on the micro world of marco. Ever since I picked up my new lens last week all I can think about is, what can I can shoot with my new marco lens.
