You may laugh at me but i saw this picture a few years back while i was still living in Asia (and i mean i saw this particular picture). Actually, at that time, i didn't notice the name of the cities and the link below the picture, so it took me a few hours to find the lake on Google earth (from the lake, the mountains and the shape of the houses, i just thought it was probably somewhere in the Alps). Bit stupid as everything is written below your picture.
I found that the location happened to be lake Lucerne and that the small flat piece of land near at the feet of the mountain in the background of the picture is Isleten. I remembered the location for the past few years and I decided to go there one day with the Love of my life.
This day happened and it was during Easter vacation last week. My wife and I spent 3 days in the city of Lucerne and around and it is as as lovely as you can imagine. Then i couldn't resist to try to find this exact location i saw a few years back which brought us to Lucerne and take a picture where your picture was taken. But my memory is not perfect and we were a couple hundred meters off (we went to Wissigstrasse).
Then, back home, i couldn't resist to try to find the picture again, which surprisingly i managed to do in about a week (i did not do only that, don't worry

)
Anyway, thanks so much for this nice picture that allowed my wife and I to spend a very beautiful weekend. We will definitively go back to Switzerland and Lake Lucerne (and Oberruiti)
